Community
Showing up where it counts
Insurance is a community business. The agencies that last are the ones that show up — not just when a claim is filed, but when the local nonprofit needs volunteers, when a neighborhood program needs a sponsor, and when the people we serve every day need to know we're invested in the same place they live.
For 15 years, Tim Waltrip and the Modern Consulting team have made community service a core part of how we operate across Kansas.

Recognition
2020 Ray Lynch Community Service Award
Tim Waltrip was named the 2020 recipient of the Ray Lynch Community Service Award — a national recognition given to one insurance agent each year for outstanding commitment to community service. The award is named for Ray Lynch, a Vietnam veteran and insurance agent who built a career around the conviction that local agents are responsible for more than the policies they write.
Winning this award is not a marketing line. It reflects years of consistent investment in Kansas City–area causes, mentorship inside the agency, and the kind of follow-through that earns recognition from peers in the industry.
Partnership
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City
Our team partners with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City — specifically the John Thornberry Unit on East 43rd Street — to support the kids and families they serve every day. Through volunteer days, supply drives, and direct hands-on involvement, our team shows up in person, not just with a check.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City provide afterschool programs, mentorship, and a safe place for thousands of kids across the metro. Being part of that work is one of the most meaningful things we do as an agency.
